Averant Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

Averant (“we”, “us”) operates the website averant.ai. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the averant.ai website and to demo requests made through it. It does not cover the Averant product itself, which processes customer documentation under separate agreements with our customers, nor third-party services you reach from links on this site, which have their own privacy policies.

2. Data we collect

Usage analytics. We use a third-party analytics service to understand how the site is used. This includes pages viewed, interactions such as clicks and scrolling, device and browser information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and site performance measurements. The analytics service may also record a replay of your interactions with the page. Analytics requests are routed through our own domain.

Demo requests. If you book a demo, scheduling is handled by a third-party scheduling provider, which collects the details you provide (such as your name, email address, and selected time) under its own privacy policy. We receive the booking information so we can hold the meeting.

The site has no user accounts and does not collect payment information.

3. How we use data

We use the data above to operate and improve the website, understand which content is useful, diagnose technical problems, secure the site against abuse, and respond to demo requests. We do not sell personal information, we do not use it for third-party advertising, and we do not use anything collected on this site to train models.

Legal bases. Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we process this data on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating, improving, and securing the site; your consent, where the law requires it (for example, for analytics cookies); steps taken at your request, such as arranging a demo; and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Our analytics provider stores cookies and browser storage identifiers to distinguish visits. Where the law requires consent for these technologies, we ask for it before enabling them. We also recognize and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track signals sent by your browser. You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings; the site remains fully usable without them.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We share data only as needed to run the site:

Service providers. We use a small number of providers in the following categories: website analytics, demo scheduling, and website hosting and infrastructure. They process data on our behalf, under contractual data protection commitments and our instructions. A current list of providers is available on request via the contact address below.

Legal requests. We may disclose data to comply with valid legal process, to protect our rights or property, or to protect the safety of users or the public.

Business transfers. If Averant is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, site data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Data retention

Analytics data is retained under our analytics provider’s standard retention settings and deleted or aggregated over time. Demo-request correspondence is kept for as long as needed to manage the relationship, then deleted.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect data, including TLS encryption for data in transit, access controls on the systems and provider accounts that hold site data, and least-privilege access internally. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to meet or exceed industry norms.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email your request to contact@averant.ai with the subject line “Data Privacy Request”. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and respond within the timelines required by applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. International users

Our providers process data in the United States. If you access the site from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction. Where data is transferred from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our providers rely on recognized safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

10. Children’s privacy

The site is intended for professional audiences and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date; material changes will be flagged on the site before they take effect.

12. Contact
